Pilates for Dancers with Markella Kefallonitou

An online Pilates class taught by Markella Kefallonitou, BASI Pilates instructor and faculty, a dance specialist and an Onassis Foundation Scholar.
Markella works at the Royal Ballet School in London. She is the Pilates instructor at the Lower School and she is a member of the multidisciplinary Healthcare Team. She also teaches at Central School of Ballet.
Summer Workshop 2024
27th, 28th & 29th Aug. 2024
Ages 9 - 16 years
A 3-day Workshop taught by by ex-professional ballerina and current Royal Ballet School Associate Teacher, Zoe Epstein alongside professional guest teachers!
Held in Rambert School Studios, The Summer Workshop is aimed at both Pre Vocational and Vocational Students, focused on each individual furthering their classical ballet technique and artistry, including specialised conditioning and stretching, repertoire and (pre)/pointework. Each group will perform their learnt repertoire to family and friends on the final day.
Students will benefit from a minimum of 4 hours of dancing each day learning from both myself and exceptional guest teachers.
Places are limited to ensure small class sizes and will be offered on a first-come-first-served basis following a successful application with photographs. (Current students and those in full-time vocational training do not need to submit photographs).
Mini Summer Workshop
24th July 2024
Ages 9 - 14 years
To start the summer, we have a 1-Day Classical Ballet Workshop for students 9-14 years held in Danceworks, Studios, London.
The day will include a Classical Ballet Class, Repertoire and a special guest teacher - TBA! Students will benefit from individual coaching from Zoe Epstein, working in a small group to ensure all students receive personal feedback they can take away.
Parents and carers will also have the opportunity to watch a short demonstration at the end of the day.
Junior Workshop

Ages 3 - 9
Open to all children aged 3 – 9 years, the Spring Workshop includes ballet class, arts and crafts and repertoire inspired by the Pirate and Princess filled ballet, Le Corsaire!
Classes will be held from 10:00 - 12:30 and are led by Fully qualified teacher registered with Royal Academy of Dance and Royal Ballet School’s Teaching Diploma.
