Alongside the School's RAD classes, students who show motivation and potential for Vocational Training will be offered additional classes. Pre Vocational ballet classes will include specific body conditioning exercises, classical ballet technique and opportunities to develop musicality and artistry. These classes are open to all students (current School pupils and those who attend other dance schools).
Working in small groups, the Online Pre Vocational Classes will focus on enabling each individual student to fulfil their potential. Every student will have a different journey and ensuring all students build confidence in a supportive and motivating environment is essential. Students will be prepared for auditions and given the tools to work independently in and out of classes to further their technique.
Classes are taught by Zoe Epstein, current Royal Ballet School Mid & Advanced Associate teacher. Building on her experience as professional ballet dancer with The Romanian National Ballet, Zoe's classes aim to both challenge and inspire students.
All Pre Vocational students will be given the opportunity for additional private lessons and invited to termly studio workshops held in Central London. The aim of the course is to provide additional training outside syllabus classes to enhance technique and prepare students for further training (full time and associate programmes). Current students have gained places at The Royal Ballet School, Elmhurst Ballet School, Tring Park, Moorland Ballet Academy, London Vocational Ballet School and RBS Junior and Mid Associates.
The Pre Vocational Classes are currently for students age 8-16. Places are limited and will be offered to new students following application and a trial class.
