Miss Meghan
From January 2025, ZEBS is delighted to welcome Miss Meghan Henegan as our cover Pre Vocational teacher, as well as a private coach.
Meghan, originally from Port Elizabeth, South Africa, was a Soloist with Cape Town City Ballet for a decade. Her impressive repertoire includes roles such as Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy in "The Nutcracker," Swanhilda in "Coppélia," the Waltz Girl in George Balanchine’s "Serenade," and Princess Florine in the Bluebird pas de deux from "The Sleeping Beauty."
Last year, she completed her Dance Teaching Diploma with The Royal Ballet School, where she gained valuable experience teaching at both The Royal Ballet School and English National Ballet School.

What has been your most memorable performance?
This is a tough one! If I had to pick it would be my first Swanhilda performance in Coppelia. I loved being able to completely immerse myself in the character and performing comedy moments are always fun as well as challenging.
What do you enjoy most about teaching?
As cliche as it sounds, I love being about to pass on the joy that dancing brought me to a new generation of dancers. Ballet is a beautiful art form and it such a joy to be able to pass on my knowledge.
