RAD Ballet Classes
The School follows the RAD system of training which offers assessment and examination opportunities at every level. Classes include classical technique and character dance (from Grade 1 upwards) which promote natural co-ordination, balance, agility and artistic appreciation.
The discipline of ballet trains correct posture and strength, whilst focusing and stimulating the mind. Regular classes help develop a child’s musicality and imagination, increase confidence in their movement abilities and enhance their social skills through dancing with new friends.
Parents are invited to a demonstration class to observe their child’s progress at the end of each term.
Regular performance experiences and workshops are available to all students allowing children to develop creativity, social skills and self-expression. In the winter term, Week 11 will be a repertoire workshop week, stimulating imagination through classical repertoire.
